Emily Wagner
Executive Director
A rock star in every sense of the word, Emily Wagner has dedicated over 20 years of her life to MESI and all she got was one of our stupid shirts 🙄. Well, that and a diet Coke addiction. Emily does it all, from grant writing to fundraising to client interaction.  Every day she spends at the shelter is an inspiration to the rest of us- even when we're begging her to take a day off. When she's not at MESI wrangling the rest of us to do our jobs, she's at home wrangling her chickens and goats and three children- wait- two children. And husband. 😉​

Monique Robinson
Case Manager, LMSW
Some people say that winning isn't everything, but we're pretty sure they never met Monique. We can't confirm or deny, but rumors are that Monique once challenged a basketball coach to a pickup game in the parking lot after a bad call. She won. (The coach was her husband, and let's be real- he should have totally known better 🏀​.) Here at MESI Monique Case Manages women and families, helping remove the barriers between them and housing stability!

Amanda Crisp
Case Manager
Amanda is something of a superhero. And we're not just saying that because she's the one writing all of these. At least, you can't prove that. She's received incredible positive reviews from coworkers, friends, and acquaintances alike such as "Didn't you wear that shirt earlier this week?" and "I think there's actually, literally something wrong with you." Once, her office was so messy that when she cleaned it, Monique thought she quit. Amanda maintains that there's a method to her madness, but the jury is still out on whether that's true. Regardless, she Case Manages the men at the shelter like a champ and she loves what she does, so MESI is probably stuck with her for a while.

​Grants & Finance Officer
The second Emily on our team is the mastermind behind everything grants and finances! She brings precision, creativity, and care to everything she does, both behind the desk and through her interactions with clients. Emily can build a budget that could win awards, but her real superpower? Heart. Behind every grant she writes and every financial report she perfects is a deep care for the people we serve. Emily brings warmth and compassion to every client interaction, making sure folks feel supported -- not just with services, but with genuine kindness. Emily ensures we have the resources to dream big, usually with a highlighter in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other! 

Emily Hrabik
Residential Housing Case Manager
Yes, we know — there are three Emily's on our team, and yes, it is confusing in emails. As our Residential Housing Case Manager, she works to help clients secure stable, supportive housing. Emily approaches every case with calm determination, genuine compassion, and a deep commitment to meeting people where they are. Her ability to navigate situations while keeping clients’ dignity at the center of her work makes her an important part of our team.

Aubree Hoffman
House Manager
Every team needs a glue, someone that holds everything together. Aubree, our House Manager, is the glue that holds together our day-to-day. She wears many different hats between overseeing our Night and Weekend staff, coordinating donations, supporting volunteers, helping keep fundraising efforts moving, and still somehow finding time to handle the countless unexpected tasks that come her way. Through it all, Aubree treats every client with exceptional care and genuine respect. Her steady presence and dedication help to create a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
