In-Kind Donations

Manhattan Emergency Shelter, Inc. uses in-kind donations to provide items to community members in need.  When an individual or family transitions into permanent housing, they don't always have basic household items like dishes, furniture, bedding, or cookware.  Donated items are provided to these households who would likely go without to decrease expenditures related to moving.  MESI also uses in-kind donations to supplement operational costs of maintaining the facility, these items may include: cleaning supplies, office supplies, medical supplies, and food items.
